This scholarship is dedicated to the resilient families of active-duty or reserve members who never returned home from battle. Facing the loss of a loved one in war is a tragedy that is nearly impossible to describe, but the hope is to provide support and make things a little easier for those affected by the loss. The No Fallen Heroes Foundation was launched by E. Matthew “Whiz” Buckley, a decorated ex-Navy fighter pilot and TOPGUN graduate who served two naval deployments and flew 44 combat sorties over Iraq. Since leaving flying the F/A-18 Hornet in 2006, Whiz has made valiant efforts to support veterans and their families through unwavering support, understanding, and compassion. The No Fallen Heroes Foundation’s mission is to highlight the staggering rate of veteran suicide in our nation and show that healing is possible through the use of entheogenic therapy. We facilitate and fund access to entheogenic therapy and support veterans, spouses, and dependents through the integration process.

The 2022 No Fallen Heroes Scholarship recipient was Carolyn Craycroft. Caroline is from Dallas, Texas & a freshman at the University of Oklahoma.
